Speaker Introduction
Dr. Daniel Deng, graduated from GuangZhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Acupuncture department. After graduation, he was still involved with the university. He has taught at the Sydney Institute of Traditional ChineseMedicine and the acupuncture department at UTS and is still currently teaching a Master Course at the Western Sydney University after in Australia. With his three decades of abundant acupuncture teaching and clinical experience, he established the “Deng Style Acupuncture and Pulse Balance Method” theory, a clinically effective acupuncture method. This method is based on the theories from the NeiJing, NanJing, Twelve Meridians and Eight Extra Meridians, centring on the unique and true meanings of the acupuncture points and the overall balance of Yin and Yang as the starting point to the human body. The main methods include a “pulse-acupuncture point correspondence needle method", "pivoting theory needle method", "Acu-point array needle method", Etc, which are the guidance of the theory principle of acupuncture point combinations. Daniel Deng was awarded the “Best Clinical Practice Paper" at the 2008 AACMA conference in Sydney Australia. He was an invited speaker at the sixth (2004) and the eighth (2014) World Federation of Acupuncture Association Conference. Currently, he is the Vice President of the New South Wales Association of Chinese Medicine and the Chair of the Academic Committee, Committee of Famous Doctors’ Heritage of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and the international communication working committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture Association.
