Stroke is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, with a particularly profound impact on the elderly population. Effective stroke management relies not only on timely treatment during the acute phase but also on comprehensive interventions throughout the rehabilitation process.

This lecture will present a full-spectrum approach to stroke care—from acute response to long-term rehabilitation—and explore the development of integrated management strategies from the perspectives of Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine, physiotherapy, and family support. The aim is to support and enhance stroke recovery, ultimately improving patients’ quality of life.
